Mother’s Day Brunch at Bar Solita
When I returned home from my solo trip to Myrtle Beach, I was given an extra gift of a reservation at Bar Solita (a restaurant I’d been wanting to go to for a while). Alex had us set for a table for three right when the restaurant opened, and we were seated immediately. I ordered a bloody Mary (to finally enjoy one - read about my failed attempt in Myrtle Beach in our previous blog), and we placed our food order shortly after.
My Huevos Rancheros were delicious! The tostada was crunchy, the eggs on top were fluffy, and the chorizo and black beans had a ton of flavor.
Finn really enjoyed his pancakes, and the fresh berries and side of compote were especially good.
Alex really liked his burrito, and said the home fries were cooked perfectly. (Something we’ve found is hard to come by!)
My Mother’s Day meal was a great finish to my trip and a great start to a day full of love. I always love spending time with my family and anytime I get to enjoy a good meal with them is a wonderful thing!
